Race for the Cure
This week, we participatedin the Race for the Cure, an annual fundraiser for breast cancer research. We were proud to participate in the walkathon as part of AMIT, one of the event sponsors. We also ran in memory of Joyce Thurm, grandmother of student Alex Thurm, who passed away in 1981 from breast cancer. Alex spoke to our students and shared some of the details of her grandmother's life and her middot and how proud she would have been of the children and grandchildren in the Thurm family who are all committed to Torah and to Eretz Yisrael.
