Erev Bnot Sheirut
One of the unique parts of our program is that there are 21 Israeli girls living in Beit Hayeled who are doing their Sheirut Leumi (national service). Our students partner with them to care for 130 children who live in Beit Hayeled.
To help solidify this important relationship, this past week, we had our first "Erev Bnot Sheirut" where our girls had the opportunity to bond with their Israeli counterparts. A good time was had by all, and as Lizzy Luxenberg said, "We had so much fun with the bnot sheirut! Despite the cultural differences we embraced each other and definitely had a memorable evening!"
